Through scenario-based learning, participants will develop skills for recognizing racial bias and confronting discrimination. An overview of related Human Resources policies and practices will be given to support employees in actively dismantling racism within Mass General Brigham.

I found this very helpful. It made me angry to see people being treated this way but it did make me reflect on my own actions and I will be more mindful what I say and how I say it.

Very powerful and effective
Very powerful and effective presentation. Well done. Thought provoking. Triggers much self reflection and how I can make changes in my own self and my work environment. Good examples of HOW to speak up when having witnessed microaggressions.

Excellent way to represent bias and viewpoints
I thought this training was an excellent way to help employees confront their own biases and see different viewpoints from the 4 scenarios presented. It allows employees to reflect on their own experiences as well as learn from the examples presented to help end racism from occurring in the MGB system.

Great Content
This was a great way to show the dynamics of racism within the health industry. This should be a mandated course to take in any establishment. I hope after watching this video, people put this into practice. It is one thing to appreciate the content, but to put it into practice and self-evaluate is wholeheartedly different. I appreciate that this is being a part of our healthstream and look forward in seeing this placed into practice.

I appreciated how this
I appreciated how this training demonstrated the many forms of racism and it's consequences in a real way that reflected lived experiences of colleagues across the system. I also appreciated how this training highlighted the many benefits of affirming diversity and inclusion, including enhanced staff morale/ sense of community, better clinical and administrative decision making, and improved patient care/ experience.
