Eye opening. Understanding from another perspective is needed and this was perfectly set up for that.

This module utilized 4 examples of realistic scenarios that exemplify racism in the workplace, and how to appropriately intervene when these issues arise. I hope that these modules help bring about a better understanding of discrimination in the workplace and what we can do to eradicate these issues.

The key emphasis is on imparting valuable insights and skills to individuals impacted by or involved in inappropriate behavior, guiding them on addressing such issues safely. The training acknowledges the crucial necessity for a sincere understanding of the challenges faced by individuals, particularly people of color, in the workplace. Through promoting this understanding, the training strives to play a role in establishing an inclusive and respectful environment that celebrates the diversity of cultural perspectives.

This course was very well thought out and executed. Everyone in every line of work should have to do this training.

I thought seeing the different experiences of multiple people was helpful and gave a good insight of what multiple people can go through. 

Videos were helpful to see each person's point of view and how to overcome these encounters and voicing your own opinion and diversity is important. 

I think all four scenarios put into perspective what caucasion employees can do that will truly show people of color that we are putting in the work to combat racisim and using our voice to change the narrative.

The four scenarios discussed the discrepancies that occur in the work place and effective ways in which the issues can be managed and decreased in not only the hospital but other workplaces as well. 

Watching each scenario unfold really helped me see how important each person's reaction is, whether they are one of the two people involved in an encounter, if they are an observer/bystander.  Knowing how to respond, professionally, ethically, and conscientiously is important, if we want to create a workplace where all employees, regardless of their job, race, gender, orientation, or culture feel safe, respected, and appreciated.
