This bystander education course will provide employees with an understanding of how interpersonal racism continues to support and maintain systemic racism. Through scenario-based learning, participants will develop skills for recognizing racial bias and confronting discrimination. An overview of related Human Resources policies and practices will be given to support employees in actively dismantling racism within Mass General Brigham.

I think this training was very important and one of the best on the subject I have ever experienced. I thought it was great how it explored so many different perspectives and was very engaging and forced me to think and see from everyone's POV.

I felt the scenario-based learning was an excellent way to present these different scenarios and perspectives. It brings to light how microaggressions often go under the radar and in order to address systemic racism, we must first bring awareness to how it is mainly prevalent today.
