A Very Helpful Course
This training course was a very big eye opener & every worker should be required to take the course.
I feel that it is better to know too much then to not know anything at all.

Challenging scenarios but masterful endings
I was really happy to see such a well thought out training that really addresses some of the biases and stereotypes and situations that many people of color or other orientations/abilities run into which create high stress levels, anger and dissatisfaction in the workplace.
The concept of safety and respect and equity is key, but better yet, examples on how to de-escalate and create kind empathy based transitions to invite discussions that might be able to elicit true listening and understanding,
Most people are not conscious or able to reflect adequately due to the challenges of the moment to create better endings to these common occurrences.
Great start on the work we all need to do.

I AGREE
It's encouraging to see initiatives like this bystander education course being implemented within organizations like Mass General Brigham. This course appears to address a crucial aspect of combating systemic racism by focusing on interpersonal racism and providing employees with the necessary skills to recognize and confront racial bias and discrimination.
The use of scenario-based learning is particularly effective as it allows participants to engage with real-life situations and develop practical skills for addressing racism in various contexts. Additionally, providing an overview of related Human Resources policies and practices demonstrates the organization's commitment to supporting employees in actively dismantling racism.
Overall, this course seems well-designed to empower employees to play a proactive role in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace. It's essential for organizations to continue investing in such initiatives to foster a more inclusive and equitable environment for all employees.

Good overview
Sad that this is still an issue in 2024, but glad we are organizing resources and training to help mitigate this issue. Content was thorough and examples were not too dramatized.

Eye Opening
These scenarios opened my eyes to how easily people can use comment or actions to make people of other races feel uncomfortable in their workplace. It made me angry that the people in the scenarios were put in these positions and made to feel this way. I hope to never encounter actions of hate like this in my workplace.
